Introduction

Acid-related disorders such as GERD and dyspepsia remain highly prevalent and continue to be suboptimally managed in routine clinical practice. In this CME, we review the underlying pathophysiology, highlight current treatment gaps, and examine the role of targeted therapies, including alginate-based formulations and combination antacids, in improving patient outcomes.
